well its been a few days now since I first started working at Office Max in Walker (73) at first I was a bit hesitant about the move up there. After a few days its slowly becoming more "normal" however I still do miss my old Kentwood store. One thing I definatly miss is the short commute to work 5mins vs. 20 miles.
Oh well... on to other news - on Tuesday the 29th after a extended vacation from college I am getting back in the groove. Every Tues/Thursday I will be making the drive up to Big Rapids... yes I know its not a quick commute however it was the only location offering the course I needed. Fortunate for me Marissa has the same class/time so I will have someone to drive up with and split some of the milage.
And finally check out upcoming websites to be completed by me and added to the freelance page. sites are www.mibbyle.com and www.dmband.org both are under construction right now. Mibbyle has a half working layout. I am still struggling to get the .gif files to work correctly. Dmband.org has not seen the update to the new 2.0 version yet. however I am quite excited for the day I get the chance to let the public view.
And finally in the works ladesignfloralandgifts.com will soon get a much needed house cleaning and layout upgrade. The site has remained the same for several years now and is in need of a few feature upgrades.
We will see how the upgrades progress more to come later. But for now I bid you all a goodnight.
Well, seeing i setup flickr to use photos I thought this to be a prime opportunity to see how one would look, I am concidering buying a year's worth of flickr just for the image featurs this site has.
Its off to work I go in about a hour. My last day at store 8 ... oh how I will miss this store. Its my home of sorts.
subject says it all, its been another somewhat long and uneventfull day at Office Max. 1-close, and tomorrow 4 to close then its goodbye Kentwood Office Max & Hello to Walker Office Max. I got a promotion, thats a futher drive and not a great pay raise. Is that really a promotion? Anyhoo enough on that... in other news, the site is almost completly up. Only real items to work out are on the layouts for the freelance gallery, not sure exactly how I am wanting these items displayed. I hope to iron that out tonight or tomorrow. Or the very latest over the weekend.
